Lasseters Patrons Raise Over $7,000 for Alice Springs Animal Shelter Through TITO Donation Program

Lasseters Centre of Entertainment has proudly announced the success of its newly established TITO (Ticket-In Ticket-Out) Community Donation Program, with patrons raising an impressive $7,162.90 over three months in support of the Alice Springs Animal Shelter.

The funds will assist the Animal Shelter in constructing a much-needed shaded seating area for families meeting dogs for adoption — creating a more comfortable and welcoming space for future pet owners.

The TITO Donation Program allows gaming patrons to donate unwanted ticket balances at the end of their visit to a nominated local charity, sporting association or not-for-profit organisation. The initiative empowers patrons to directly contribute to causes that matter to them while ensuring even small amounts can collectively create meaningful community impact.

Lasseters Chief Operating Officer Craig Jervis said the program reflects the organisation’s long-standing commitment to supporting the region.

“The TITO Donation Program is about turning unwanted tickets that have historically been discarded into meaningful impact. By giving patrons, the opportunity to donate unused ticket balances, we are creating a simple but powerful way to directly benefit organisations that strengthen and support our community. The response from our patrons has been extraordinary, and it demonstrates the genuine generosity that exists within Alice Springs.”

Following the successful completion of the Animal Shelter round, Lasseters later transitioned its support to the Alice Springs Baseball Association, and then the Desert Sports Foundation, and will now commence supporting the Tatts Finke Desert Race continuing its commitment to community organisations and grassroots sporting organisations.

Applications are now open for future recipients, with interested charities, schools, arts groups, sporting bodies and community organisations encouraged to contact the Lasseters Sponsorship Committee for further information.
